The ITB (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin) Berlin has a 50-year-old history on its background. Launched 50 years ago as a minor exhibition, it rapidly became a global success. Over the years ITB has not only grown in size, exhibitor numbers and attendance, it has also become a comprehensive industry marketplace, showcasing travel products and services from around the world and growth-intensive niche markets. As a pioneer and effective exhibition in the tourism industry, ITB Berlin has always been and still is one step ahead of the rest.
The world’s largest tourism trade fair of Berlin known as ITB Berlin takes place each year in March at Messe Berlin. The companies which are represented at the fair include hotels, tourist boards, tour operators, system providers, airlines and car rental companies.
In 2012, an approximate number of 7000 journalists attended the ITB Berlin, of whom about 1,500 were from other countries. Iranhrc took an active part in this outstanding exhibition in 2015,2016,2017,2018 and 2019.
